We encourage all Leonians to continue their life-long learning and
to seek continuous improvement.
In line with our "One Leonian" concept and the Leo culture, we have launched learning and education programs to enhance personal growth and development.
Increasing one's knowledge and improving his or her techniques also create a win-win situation for Leo and all Leonians.
Highlights of the learning and education program
Nurturing Program
We run a "nurturing program" to provide a platform for students to explore their potential and talent, while also equipping them with an understanding of Leonian life and culture. To cope with this program, we opened a new practical training base at the Nanchong Institute in China for printing and packaging techniques. This new training centre raises standards and professionalism in the industry in Mainland China, and at the same time meets our own staff development needs.
The Leo Higher Education Program
Seeking to promote ongoing education for Leonians, we established a partnership with a distinguished Chinese university – Wuhan University. This program offered a total education package with both diploma and degree courses over a two and a half year period, and came to a satisfactory close with more than 100 graduates.
Leo Printing Management Course
This tailor-made management course fits our business and manufacturing needs and was designed with our Lean Manufacturing Model in mind. Visiting well-known business and manufacturers gives Leonians the opportunity to grow and develop both as professionals and as individuals. This enrichment and improvement in management levels will not only enhance our overall competitiveness in the market but also contribute to our sustainable development now and in the future.
SmarTalent
It is a program for the development of potential talents of the company and as part of the succession plan of Leo’s sustainable growth. The project has last for three years, 23 members achieve great progress after going through a series of training courses including Self-Evaluation, Career Development, Development Acceleration, Talent Reserve Blueprint, etc.
