FamLoop™, it has been a busy first half of 2013. We exhibited at the O’Reilly Tools of Changes (TOC), Bologna and BookExpo America (BEA) exhibitions as well as publicized press releases for new apps available at the App Store.
FamLoop™ allows children and parents to participate in the story and enhances reading comprehension while also adding more fun to the storytelling experience. In addition to the classic lift-a-flap feature, FamLoop™ demonstrated various new features at the current exhibitions, driving many clients and visitors’ interest who liked our dialogic reading approach.
The newly launched storybook app,
Agent Magic Investigates: Punky Dunk and the Goldfish, is the first ever voice-interactive iPad storybook with a mystery twist designed for children ages 4-6. It uses a dialogic reading approach to boost reading and vocabulary. With an animated mouse as a story companion, it encourages kids to answer questions, and the built-in sharing feature enables parents to post their recordings through Family Connect, a private family sharing network.
Oz Tales is another brand new interactive story-game designed for children ages 5 and above. It is not an everyday ebook, it is a truly interactive story with interactive technologies like audio recordings and digital puzzles etc. Kids can control characters and immerse themselves in the story. We believe that children learn best if learning is more like playing and families get involved.
