LEO-MTS Extended Testing Scopes and Capabilities Approved by U.S. CPSC

At the beginning of 2017, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) voted to confirm the provisions of ASTM F963-16 as the mandatory toy standard. Heshan Leo Metrology and Testing Services Co., Ltd. (LEO-MTS) recently received application approval from the CPSC to extend its testing scopes and capabilities including the accreditation to test for:

• 4.11 (ASTM F963-16), Nails and Fasteners
• 4.12 (ASTM F963-16), Plastic Film
• 4.14 (ASTM F963-16), Cords, Straps, and Elastics (Except 4.14.4 Strings and Lines for Flying Devices)
