In June, we were pleased to be invited to attend the 2012 Sappi Printers of the Year Awards presentation ceremony held in India, and to receive the silver award. This biennial printing award recognized our continuous efforts to produce quality products that meet
and go beyond clients expectations.
Awards are presented in eleven categories to printers from the four Sappi Trading regions of Asia, Australasia, Central America and South America. Entries are judged on technical excellence, overall appearance, quality of the finishing and the general difficulty of the print job, as well as factors like special treatments. This awards program focuses on raising the bar of print excellence by recognizing exceptional printing.
In addition, we won two Product of Excellence awards under the categories of mechanical folding and hand work. The Binding Industries Association’s (BIA) Product of Excellence Award is the most prestigious award in the binding industry. Only the most outstanding entry in a category receives the designation of Product of Excellence. To win, an entry must be technically flawless. This is the highest award in the binding industry a company can receive.
