This year marked another milestone in our continuous green efforts over the years. On behalf of our group, Ms. Jane Xiao, Senior Manager of the Integrated Management Department, was invited as one of the experts to participate in the formulation of the National Green Printing Standard under the National Technical Committee 170 for the Printing of Standardization Administration of China since the process began in 2014.
According to the announcement by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of The People's Republic of China, this national standard was finalized for implementation effective September 1, 2017. This marks the beginning of an important guideline to the standardization of green printing in China. It also laid the foundation for future green printing and eco-friendly low-carbon technical development, applications and promotion in printing industry in China.
