Shaping Standards Through Manufacturing Experience

202610221144
Reliable environmental information is becoming increasingly important for brands seeking to meet sustainability commitments, support responsible sourcing and communicate product-related environmental performance. At Leo, supporting clients in addressing these requirements is an important part of our sustainability journey. This commitment contributed to the development of ISO 22067-2:2026, where we participated as a member of ISO/TC 130 WG11 and one of the drafting organizations. We are helping establish a more consistent framework for environmental communication across post-press processes.

Published in May this year, ISO 22067-2:2026 marks the first international sustainability standard for the printing industry led by China. Through its involvement in the standard's development, we contributed manufacturing expertise and practical implementation experience. This experience strengthens our ability to support clients as sustainability expectations continue to evolve.

On 13 October, Ms. Jane Xiao, ISO/TC 130 Registered Expert and Senior Standardization Manager of the Chairman's Office, was invited to speak at the 2026 Plenary Meeting of the National Technical Committee on Printing (SAC/TC 170) and Its Subcommittees, and Technical Exchange Forum, sharing perspectives on how businesses can leverage international standards to strengthen their competitiveness in global markets.

For Leo, contributing to international standards is not only about adopting best practices, but also about ensuring that practical manufacturing experience continues to help shape the future of the industry.
