A new year and a new venture for Leo.
For the first time we exhibited at The UK Spring Fair held at the NEC in Birmingham February 5 through 9, 2017. As this year will mark the 35th year of Leo Paper Group’s journey, it was an auspicious time and prestigious venue in which to showcase our total solution services for a wide audience. Our dedicated stand gave us the space and time to present our value-added solutions, Leo Touch secondary processes, Haptic Magic sound technology and luxury packaging to the attendees of the fair.
This fair is the UK’s No.1 trade show where the retail industry comes to do business. It was an ideal event for our sales representatives from Leo UK and Leo Europe offices to come together and explore opportunities for new business.
Established in 1976, the Fair attracts a purchasing power of £2.4 billion, with 2,500+ exhibitors launching over 300,000 new products. The 700,000 show visitors from across the UK, Europe and further abroad included a wide variety of buyers – from independents to high-profile department stores.
Our stand was located in Hall 5,
Children’s Gifts, Toys and Gadgets, which was one of the busiest halls at the show. Exhibitors could connect directly with buyers, and had the added benefit of non-stop through traffic of the general attendees.
Our stand displayed a range of products to demonstrate our comprehensive manufacturing capabilities. Our eye catching display featured award-winning books (exhibited with kind permission from our publishing partners), and a selection of games and stationery products. In addition, we had a dedicated display for packaging aimed at the beverage, gift and cosmetic markets.
