Under the theme of “Grasping Green Business Opportunities, Creating A Win-Win Future, Green Transformation Is A Must”, on June 28, 2023 we held the “Leo Green Supply Chain Seminar 2023” at our Heshan factory. The event was highly successful and drew a full house. We had more than 180 representatives from around 120 suppliers in attendance.
The seminar began with a welcome speech from our Group Chairman, followed by a brief summary of Leo’s sustainable development commitments and milestones by our Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, and then presentation on “Leo’s Sustainability Philosophy and Experience Sharing”, “The Irreversible Trend of Green Transformation under Dual-Carbon Goals”, and “Sharing of Multi-Win Strategies under Green and Environmental Protection” by the representative from our Group’s Green Operations Strategy Team.
The seminar included a Q&A session where the Chairman and senior management answered questions from our suppliers. During the Q&A session, our Group Chairman and senior management shared Leo’s approach to balancing business and environmental development, plans for sustainable green environmental protection and requirements for green material procurement, which shows our determination to pursue the path of “Green, Lean, Smart” development.
By striving to be a leader in the global printing and communication industry, Leo is committed to sustainable development and ESG is always at the core of our DNA. Through the Green Supply Chain Seminar, we aimed to promote this concept and educate our suppliers on sustainable practices and encourage them to actively practice green transformation, reduce carbon emissions, reduce plastic use and waste from the source and work together to explore business opportunities and create a low-carbon green future.
