201407291550
Following the Costco’s Supplier Qualification Program (SQP) Assessment this past March, we are proud to announce we obtained a high performance score of 98 out of 100, with the global average score being 75, thereby confirming Leo has complied with Costco’s requirements. The result reinforces our concentration on quality control and management as well as manufacturing practices. In addition, no further audits are required this year.

The SQP assessment emphasizes measurement in which the “Measured Results” were based on eight key criteria for assessment. It is to ensure the continued quality of product being shipped to and sold by Costco. Performed by Intertek, these cover:
  • Management Commitment and Continual Improvement
  • Risk Management
  • Quality Management System
  • Sites and Facilities Management
  • Product Control
  • Product Testing
  • Process Control
  • Personnel Training and Competency
Among these, Leo obtained 100% compliance in 6 key assessment criteria. Our high performance measured results were also above the global average overall score of 75. This demonstrates our factory’s strong concentration on quality control and management. More importantly, Leo’s participation in this program further ensures our dedication to our clients’ requests and our capability to supply products to Costco that comply with all of their requirements.
