We are pleased to have received the “ERB Manpower Developer 1st (MD1st) Award” at the 5th Presentation Ceremony of the “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme.” The event was held on April 23, 2014 at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong. The Hon. Matthew CHEUNG Kin-chung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Labor and Welfare, and Miss Annie TAM Kam-lan, JP, Permanent Secretary for Labor and Welfare were invited as the officiating guests. This is the third time that Leo has received this award.
Launched by the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) to promote a corporate culture that focuses on manpower training and development, the award recognizes Leo’s outstanding accomplishments in this area. A company is judged against a set of objective and stringent assessment criteria established by professional consultants. These criteria include the social responsibilities of a manpower developer, the promotion of a learning culture, a well-established training and development system, resource planning and governance management.
In line with our "One Leonian" concept and the Leo culture, over the years we have encouraged all Leonians to continue their life-long learning and to seek continuous improvement, providing diverse training and development platforms and programs for a variety of professional talents.
