Our motto, “People as Our Foundation,” plays a key role in Leo’s long-term goal of transforming into a Smart Manufacturer. Our determination to embrace change is not limited to our business model and operation enhancements, but also applies to our long-term people development plan. By 2017, our target is for 80% of our smart talents to be nurtured. It is an important step to attaining our long-term goal of being a Smart Manufacturer in order to support your sustainable business growth needs.
Over the years, we have continued to cultivate a life-long learning culture and believe that every Leonian, from all job levels, should be given the opportunity to learn, improve and grow. By continuously fostering our Leonians, both Leo and our customers enjoy win-win benefits in the long run.
We understand that customer-focused services are not only relied on by our professional sales teams, but also by supporting departments in our factory. No matter if it is job-related or just for personal growth, each training session serves its purpose to foster our Leonians to share the same vision and mindset practiced by our top management.
In 2015, a total of 125 training sessions were organized for over 7,000 Leonians. Employees participated in a series of specialized courses that concentrated on various topics in terms of job-related or industry-related knowledge, personal growth, cultural, innovative and strategic mindset thinking, as well as team building. Our sales team, who act as the business hub between you and our internal departments, also participated in a series of training and nurturing programs that were specifically aimed at strengthening the overall customer-focus and sales profession level in the long run. These programs included topics such as:
- Cross-departmental Learning, e.g. small exhibitions, team building workshops, etc. to facilitate effective collaboration and understanding to better address customer needs and optimize production workflow;
- Personal Growth, e.g. leadership training, analytical problem solving skills and corporate strategic management, etc. to foster smart talents for supporting the group’s sustainable growth;
- Job-related Knowledge Enhancement, e.g. knowledge and skill sharing training sessions;
- Training Within Industry (TWI), e.g. visit to external exhibitions to broaden our vision and grasp industrial trends that would be suitable for Leo.
