Our director, Mr. Roy Tang, spoke at the Product Safety Seminar on April 15th in London, to emphasize that Product Safety is at the top of Leo's agenda and that our action plan includes supplier selection, material verification, incoming inspection, In-process control and final goods quality assurance. We are committed to our products meeting legal requirements and international standards.
Since October 2010, Leo has successfully been accredited QC 080000 certification, which shows our capability in managing and controlling hazardous substances present in component parts and products. With the implementation of the new European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC in July 2011, Leo Paper, as a leading paper product manufacturing company are well prepared to assist you in complying with the EU legislation, ensuring timely documentation and seamless delivery. Our promise:
- We will continue to ensure that the raw materials being used in our product do not exceed the international limitation on banned or restricted chemicals or SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern).
- We will work closely with suppliers to ensure that they have a clear understanding of new standards and that supplied materials and accessories meet the directive's requirements.
- We will continue to look for eligible accessories as substitutions which give you more sourcing solutions.
- We will regularly monitor regulations and requirements allowing us to comply with the latest international standards.
