In this year’s annual Global Security Verification (GSV) audit we received a high mark of 96 out of 100, while the global average is 78. This outstanding performance result reaffirms our integrated management system and continuous efforts to protect our customers’ property and interest through supply chain security practices and risk management.
We have been voluntarily participating in the GSV program since 2008. This program is conducted by an independent third party to determine that appropriate security measures, as outlined by the US Bureau of Customs and Border Protection and other international mutually recognized supply chain security programs, are implemented and maintained throughout our manufacturing plant in Heshan, China.
Specifically, this verification focused on existing processes, procedures and infrastructure related to the following eight critical areas of supply chain security:
- Export Logistics
- Physical Security
- Shipment Information Controls
- Personnel Security
- Storage and Distribution
- Information Access Controls
- Records and Documentation
- Contractor Controls
