Highlights of The 2014 Frankfurt Book Fair

We have been exhibiting at the Frankfurt Book Fair (FBF) for 16 years. During this annual event held every October, we take advantage of the opportunity to showcase what’s new and innovative at Leo that can support your business and product development needs.

Our theme at the 2014 FBF was “Moving Ahead. Staying Ahead.” This concept expressed Leo’s commitment to continually and aggressively move ahead in providing you, our valued customers, with innovative and value-added solutions in printing, secondary processes, design formats and technologies that enable you to stay ahead of the competition in the marketplace. Many of our customers around the world visited our stand to see the newest developments and solutions that Leo offers and to preview one of our new technologies that will be coming in 2015.

The spacious stand provided areas for customers to meet with our sales representatives and tour the latest innovations go over projects or meet with
our Creative Team to brainstorm new ideas. Customers and visitors enjoyed the entertaining mime performer demonstrating the latest Haptic Magic applications including sound, light and simple pop-up construction, etc., features. Our “Haptic Magic Book Series” was officially launched at the FBF. This specially designed box set includes four different board books that include Haptic Magic technology and various secondary processes. This series aims to add value by offering competitive and marketable pricing options for sound books, which can be produced semi-automatically and automatically using our suggested standardized template and format in terms of paper source, dimensions and structure.

Other highlights at the stand included the introduction of a new line of “Do-It-Yourself” craft activity kits designed in-house and priced competitively to fit our customers’ market needs. A process metallic color system called Color Logic was displayed that produces eye-catching color output and is ideal for all types of products. An exciting new technology that will be introduced in 2015 was also previewed to customers for input, echoing the theme of moving ahead into the future and staying ahead in the industry.

All these demonstrated how Leo can support and keep you “Moving Ahead. Staying Ahead.” in the marketplace. Our hope was to highlight value and innovations that will help differentiate your products and facilitate exploring more opportunities. Many thanks to everyone who visited our stand!
