We passed the Factory Capability & Capacity Audit (FCCA) with an 82.2 out of 100% rating (Grade A result). The audit was conducted by an independent third party organization at our Heshan main factory in June. As a result of our passing, no further audits are required in the next 24 months, rather than the standard 12 months.
Wal-mart has requested all of their new and existing suppliers participate in the FCCA program. This program is not focused on auditing an individual product category, but on specifically assessing all suppliers and their manufacturing facilities. This includes all subcontracting and packaging facilities, to confirm they comply with Wal-Mart standards. These include:
- Factory Facilities and Environment
- Machine Calibration and Maintenance
- Quality Management System
- Incoming Materials Control
- Suppliers & Sub-contractors
- Process and Production Control
- In-House Testing
- Final Inspection
- People Resources and Training
Having passed Wal-Mart’s FCCA audit, Leo is capable of:
- fulfilling clients’ needs and requirements
- manufacturing Wal-Mart’s products in compliance with their strict requirements of a factory’s capabilities, capacities and qualities
- supporting clients in exploring business with Wal-Mart and other large scale retailers
- enhancing clients’ confidence in collaborating with Leo
- enhancing our factory and quality management
In addition to FCCA, we also participated in the Wal-Mart Supply Chain Security Audit for the first time in March 2013. We also successfully passed and obtained a high mark of 94 out of 100. Leo’s participation in these programs further facilitates our clients’ requirements and compliance in being a qualified supplier to supply paper products to Wal-Mart.
