In 2013, we participated in the Wal-Mart Supply Chain Security Audit for the first time. This year we once again obtained a remarkable result of 91 out of 100 (equivalent to Low Risk Priority) after a comprehensive audit held at our Heshan factory in February 2015. The result reaffirms the integrity of our security practices and compliance in supplying paper products to Wal-Mart.
The Wal-Mart Supply Chain Security Audit is scored based on eight major areas, including personnel security, threat awareness, physical access controls, physical security, container/trailer security, procedural security, information security, and contractor security. These mainly covered the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System requirements.
In addition to a supply chain security audit, we also passed the Wal-Mart Factory Capability & Capacity Audit (FCCA) in June 2014. Leo’s participation in these programs further facilitates our clients’ requirements and compliance in being a qualified supplier of paper products to Wal-Mart. These benefit both our clients and Leo.
