We are delighted to continue our participation in the Ethical Supply Chain Program (ESCP) Worker Well-Being initiatives this year. As a certified ESCP factory, we are fully committed to promote corporate social responsibilities and enhance the well-being of our valued employees. Guided by our motto, 'People as Our Foundation', we actively engage in ESCP programs to support family-friendly employment practices and, demonstrate our dedication to our workforce.
Building on this commitment, our Heshan factory has taken part in the ESCP Family-Friendly Spaces (FFS) program for the second consecutive year, involving 40 young Leonians. This program addresses the childcare needs of working parents during the summer season. This year, we went a step further by partnering with one of our important clients to sponsor the FFS program, making a significant impact by providing innovative books to over 1,500 children in participating Chinese factories. Our aim is to foster creativity, ignite passion for learning, and positively impact the lives of these children and their families.
Furthermore, our Vietnam factory joined the ESCP Family-Friendly Factory (FFF) Program for the first time this year. On June 30, 2024, we organized a wonderful Family Day event, attended by over 100 Leonian families. It was a joyous occasion that strengthened our bond as a family. The FFF Program focuses on promoting work-life balance and prioritizing the well-being of workers. By creating a family-friendly workplace, we strive to enhance employee satisfaction, productivity, and loyalty.
In alignment with our dedication to support our workers, we have implemented a Gender Equality Program to ensure equal opportunities and fair treatment for all employees. We also provide a confidential platform, the ESCP Worker Helpline, to our employees for seeking assistance and support when needed.
